Affirmation Statements- Keeping in Touch with Friends


My friends are the special family members that I earn along the way through life. Although we come from different blood, our love for each other makes us family. When I am around them, I feel a sense of safety and confidence.


Feeling confident in the presence of others encourages me to be myself. I enjoy relationships in which I can be my true self.

It is easy for me to share my fears about big decisions with my friends. I am able to talk through my feelings without worrying about being judged.


My expressions and emotions are raw and honest with my friends because I know that they accept me.


Whenever I have the chance to do something enjoyable, I always invite a friend to come along. It is even more fun when I share it with someone that I love.


My life has more color when I invite my friends to share it with me. Their perspectives show me the importance of being open-minded. I like that their points of view challenge me to be accepting of differences.

Today, true friendships are part of why I am so happy. I treasure the trust and openness that I share with my friends. I look forward to more days of togetherness and support. Today is the beginning of the rest of our lives together.


Carving out time in my schedule to catch up with my friends is easy. I release guilt for time that has elapsed between the last time I spoke to my friend.
